The Incarnation in the Gregorian Liturgy
Through the prayers of the mass, the church offers us the life of the Lord Jesus. While we still in the Nativity Fast, let's contemplate on the Incarnation through the prayers of the Gregorian Mass.
Causes of Incarnation
- The Creation:
- For the sake of goodness only, You have brought man into existence out of nonexistence.
- Because of the multitude of Your tender mercies, You have brought me into existence when I was not.
- You have inscribed in me the image of Your authority.
- The Fall:
- When he (mankind) fell through the deception of the serpent and disobeyed Your holy commandments.
- From one plant have You forbidden me to eat, that of which you have said to me, "Of it only do not eat". But out of my own will, I did eat of it. I put Your law behind me by my own counsel, and became slothful toward Your commandments. I plucked for myself the sentence of death.
Why The Incarnation:
- You have turned for me the punishment into salvation. As a Good Shepherd, You have sought after me that which had gone astray.
- As a True Father, You have labored with me, I who had fallen. As a True Light, You have shown upon the lost and the ignorant. For You desired to restore him (mankind) to his first estate.
How did the Incarnation came to be?
- Neither an angel nor an archangel, neither a patriarch nor a prophet, have You entrusted with our salvation
- But You, without change, were incarnate and became man, and resembled us in everything, except sin alone.
- O You, The Being throughout all times, have come to us on earth. You have come into the womb of the Virgin.
- O You, the Infinite, being God, did not consider equality with God to be grasped, but emptied Yourself, and took the form of a bondservant.
The Blessings of Incarnation
- You have reconciled the earthly with the heavenly and made the two into one, and fulfilled the economy in the flesh.
- And when You had ascended into the heaven in the flesh, You have filled all with Your divinity.
- My peace I give to you; My peace I leave with you.
- You have blessed me nature in Yourself and have fulfilled Your Law on my behalf.
- You have shown me the rising up from my fall. You have brought up my first fruit to heaven.
Happy Nativity Fast, we pray to God to grant you to enjoy the fast in purity and holiness and concluded it with the joys of the Birth of the Savior of the world.

التجسد في القداس الغريغوري
الكنيسه من خلال القداس تقدم لنا حياة الرب يسوع . ونحن في صوم الميلاد المجيد سنتأمل في قصة التجسد من خلال صلوات القداس الغريغوري
أسباب التجسد
1- الخلق
+ الذي من أجل الصلاح وحده.. مما لم يكن كونت الإنسان
+ من أجل تعطفاتك الجزيلة كونتني إذ لم أكن.. كتبت فيّ صورة سلطانك
2- السقوط
+ ومخالفة وصيتك المقدسة وعندما سقط بغواية العدو
+ غرس واحد نهيتني أن آكل منه هذا الذي قلت لي لا تأكل منه وحده، فأكلت بإرادتي وتركت عني ناموسك برأيي وتكاسلت عن وصاياك، أنا اختطفت لي قضية الموت
لماذا التجسد؟
+ حولت لي العقوبة خلاصًا.. كراعٍ صالح سعيت في طلب الضال، كأب حقيقي تعبت معي أنا الذي سقط
+ كنور حقيقي أشرقت للضالين وغير العارفين + أردت أن تجدده وترده إلى رتبته الأولى
كيفية التجسد
+ لا ملاك ولا رئيس ملائكة ولا رئيس آباء ولا نبيًا ائتمنته على خلاصنا
+ أنت بغير استحالة تجسدت وتأنست وشابهتنا في كل شئ ما خلا الخطية وحدها
+ أنت الكائن في كل زمان.. أتيت إلينا على الأرض... أتيت إلى بطن العذراء
+ أيها الغير المُحوى إذ أنت الإله.. لم تضمر اختطافًا أن تكون مساويًا لله لكن وضعت ذاتك وأخذت شكل العبد
بركات التجسد
+ أصلحت الأرضيين مع السمائيين وجعلت الاثنين واحدًا.. وأكملت التدبير بالجسد
+ عند صعودك إلى السموات جسديًا.. إذ ملأت الكل بلاهوتك
+ سلامي أترك لكم ... سلامي أعطيكم + باركت طبيعتي فيك + أكملت ناموسك عني
+ أريتني القيام من سقطتي ... أصعدت باكورتي إلى السماء
كل صوم ميلاد وجميعكم بكل خير وسلام مصلين الي الله ان يمتعكم بصوم طاهر مقدس ينتهي بفرحة ميلاد المخلص العظيم

Egyptian Parliament election
On November 28th the Egyptian Parliament election will start and because of the importance of this election as the elected parliament officials will be responsible for selecting the members of the committee that will write the new Egyptian constitution and also will select the new Egyptian president. That is why this election is the most important election in Egypt’s modern history, which will shape the new Egypt. 1- Please read this letter on Sunday to the congregations and post it on the church bulletin board. Also please have a group from our youth on Sunday with computer terminal to help the elders who do not have Internet experience to register.
2- Announce the Oriental Orthodox Co-Celebrated Liturgy on next Sat 11/19/2011 in Staten Island Church.
3- The North America Clergy congratulate H.H. Pope Shenouda III for his 40th celebration and as we all know H.H. loves the brethren of the Lord service so please send you donations for this service.

- Christian:
- The church desires that her sons and daughters be faithful, satisfied with the person of Christ, and knows well his/her true Christian faith.
- Liturgical:
- The church yearns that her sons and daughters be true Christians and satisfied with Christ through their strong relationship with the church, its rites and services, its prayers and praises, & its rich history.... These all nourishes the Christian's soul, strengthening his/her relationship with Christ as well as raise his/her knowledge of the mystery of Christ.
- Contemporary:
- The church longs that her sons and daughters be aware of the contemporary issues of their time and how to deal with them in a Christian manner that will deepen one's personality, add to one's relationship with Christ and His church, and enable the Christian person to benefit society as well as the entire world.
- Servant:
- The church hungers that her sons and daughters be barrier of Christ's spirit of service and serve others seeking to spread the message of Christ that's LOVE to all, with the soul goal of glorifying God and edifying His church.
- Patriot Citizen:
- The church wishes that her sons and daughters be Patriot Citizens. This is the sign of having the spirit of witnessing that extends beyond the church, family, and society to engulf the entire nation and the world in its entirety.
- The Christian ought to work and strife for the edification of his/her country, society, and the world.
We thank God who has enabled us this church with its distinguished location especially for your sons and daughters who go to Rutgers. We're confident that God who has started the work will complete it.
Please allow me to explain the financial situation of the church:
- The price of the church three million dollars ($3,000,000).
- The down payment is one million dollars ($1,000,000)... It was paid in full after we borrowed $325,000 from the lovers of the church.
- The rest of the price, $2,000,000 will be paid over 30 years with 5% interest rate. Thus the monthly mortgage is around $11,000.
- The basement and the bathrooms downstairs need to be renovated due to their importance.
May the Lord bless you lives and accept your offerings, and reward you the heavenly reward through the prayers of pattern saints of our church, St. Moses and St. Abraam.

ماذا تريد الكنيسه مني؟
الصورة التي تسعي الكنيسة لأن أكون عليها هي :+ مسيحي
أن يكون الإنسان المؤمن شبعان بشخص المسيح ويعي أساسيات الإيمان المسيحي
+ كنسي
أن يكون المؤمن المسيحي شبعان بالمسيح ومدرك أساسيات إيمانه من خلال ارتباطه بالكنيسة ويكون نظام العبادة فيها بكل ما فيه من طقس وليتورجيات وتسابيح وتاريخ ...... إلخ هي هي مصادر تغذيته ونموه في مسيحه بل ودرايته بسر المسيح وشخصه..!!
+ معاصر
أكون متفاعلا مع العصر الذي أعيش فيه بكل معطياته بما يعمق شخصيتي ويضيف إليّ ويُنمَّي علاقتي بالمسيح وارتباطي بالكنيسة ثم وأضيف إلي المجتمع الذي أعيش فيه علي إعتبار إني عضو فعال في مجتمعي.
+ خادم
يحمل الإنسان المسيحي روح الخدمة في داخله فيخدم الآخرين بروح مسيحية حقيقية سعيا لتوصيل رسالة المسيح حبا وبذلا لكل نفس بهدف بناء الكنيسة
+ مواطن
وهذا البعد هو في الحقيقة تأكيد لروح الشهادة الحقيقية لدي المؤمن بل يتسع بها لتشمل دوائر أكبر من محيط الكنيسة والمجتمع وهي دائرة الوطن.. فأسعي لأجل وطني الذي أنتمي إليه كمواطن كامل فيه.. أسعي لأجل بنائه وتقدمه مشاركا بكل إيجابية سائرًا علي أرضية المواطنة الكاملة الصلبة التي كفلها الدستور – حقوقا وواجبات- بكل جلاء ووضوح.

اسمحوا لي ان اوضح لحضراتكم الموقف المالي للكنيسه
- ثمن الكنيسه ثلاثة ملايين دولار
- المقدم مليون دولار( تم سدادها بعد انتم عمل سلف من محبي الكنيسه بمبلغ 325 الف دولار )
- باقي الثمن ( 2 مليون دولار ) علي 30 سنه بفائده 5% ( اي ان القسط الشهري حوالي 11 الف دولار )
- مطلوب اجراء تشطيبات للحمامات و البزمنت لاهميتهما الشديده للخدمه

Statement of the Holy Synod of The Coptic Orthodox Church
The Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church Headed by H.H. Pope Abba Shenouda III with seventy of the church's Metropolitans & Bishops met on the morning of Monday October 10, 2011 in the Papal residence in Cairo, Egypt to discuss the horrifying events of the previous night that took place in front of Maspiro, Cairo where at least 24 of our beloved children have been martyred and at least 200 more have been wounded.
As, we ascertain that our Christian faith doesn't allow us to use violence of any kind. We also know that strangers implanted themselves among our children and committed wrongful acts that would be attributed to them. Nevertheless, the Coptic Christians feel that the discriminatory acts against them are always being repeated without lawfully condemning such violent acts nor holding the perpetrators accountable and without the due justice of the law; nor implementing the right and effective solutions.
The Holy Synod calls upon all Coptic Christians worldwide to fast and pray for three days beginning tomorrow, Tuesday October 11, 2011 so that God may grant His peace to our beloved country Egypt.

اجتمع المجمع المقدس اليوم برئاسة قداسة البابا شنوده الثالث وأصدر البيان التالي :
بيان المجمع المقدس للكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية.....
المجمع المقدس للكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية برئاسة قداسة البابا المعظم الأنبا شنوده الثالث وبحضور سبعين من أحبار الكنيسة صباح يوم الإثنين 10 أكتوبر بالمقر البابوي، وقد راعه ما حدث بالأمس أمام ماسبيرو من استشهاد أكثر من 24 من أبنائنا الأحباء وكذلك حوالي مائتين من الجرحى في مسيرتهم السلمية. وإذ نؤكد إيماننا المسيحي بعدم استخدام العنف بكل صوره. كما لا ننسى أن بعض الغرباء قد يندسون وسط أبنائنا ويرتكبون أخطاء تنسب إليهم إلا أن الأقباط يشعرون بأن مشاكلهم تتكرر كما هى باستمرار دون محاسبة المعتدين، ودون اعمال القانون عليهم، أو وضع حلول جذرية لهذه المشاكل. والمجمع المقدس يدعو الشعب القبطي للصلاة والصوم ثلاثة أيام إبتداء من الغد الثلاثاء 11 / 10 لكي يحل الرب بسلامه في بلادنا الحبيبة مصر
